Fraser's Hill

"A Journey To Remember, A Friendship Last Forever "
"A Journey Chun Cuimhnigh, A Cairdis Last Deo"

Rising 1,500 meters above sea-level on the Titiwangsa mountain range of Peninsular Malaysia is Fraser's Hill. Named after a solitary Scottish pioneer, James Fraser, who set up a tin-ore trading post in the 1890s, it actually consists of seven hills. Fraser's Hill is truly an idyllic place for one to rest and to escape from not only the heat and humidity but also the hustle and bustle of city life. It is perhaps the prettiest of the Malaysian Hill resorts. (sources: Pahang Tourism)

Happy Chinese New Year

Photo by: Green Martian at Flickr
Hello and Salam 1 Malaysia

It's been long time I don't update my blog..... Busy with thesis, teaching at IKIP and OUM (latest payroll)....

Here I like to wish a Happy Chinese New Year to all Malaysians, especially the Chinese community, Malays, Indians and others....

Talking about races, please use the meaning races as a competition to the finish line, not the "keturunan".... Race is "lumba" not "bangsa/keturunan".... If we really concern about our race, we can't live in Malaysia coz Malaysia is a multi-racial country.... of course there are some privilege given to Malays, but its nothing! Everybody can get rich, everybody can live in peace REGARDLESS of your RACE! The key word here is Commitment, whoever commits to gain something, he/she will succeed it....

So please Malaysian! I hope we can eliminate our mixed feelings (which is negative), and just bring the positive in your mind... We don't want to be like others who like to destroys their countries with war, hatred, prejudice, silent grudge etc....

We loved to live together sharing our goal, our foods (nasi lemak, chapati and char koew teow), our charity and others...

Can we imagine if Malays live with only Malays? Chinese with only Chinese?, Indians with only Indians? There's no customer for Chinese (malays like to spend money), there's no more nasi lemak *(chinese like to eat nasi lemak), there's no more roti canai (malays and chinese like to eat).....

Fikir-fikirkanlah

Gong Xi Fa Cai!
